“Polski Parlament musi odrzucić regresywne projekty ustaw zakazujących aborcji i edukacji seksualnej” – Organizacje pozarządowe wyrażają swoje oburzenie ciągłymi próbami ograniczania praw seksualnych i reprodukcyjnych w Polsce. W stanowisku, zainicjowanym przez Federację i Centre for Reproductive Rights, organizacje przypominają, że jak sporne projekty ustaw wejdą w życie, zdrowie i dobrostan kobiet i młodzieży w Polsce będzie poważnie zagrożony, zaś Polska złamie wiążące ją zobowiązania międzynarodowe. Proponowane zmiany w prawie naruszyłyby wiele fundamentalnych praw człowieka takich jak prawo do życia, zdrowia, równości, prywatności, dostępu do informacji, nauki, naruszałyby one także zakaz dyskryminacji i nieludzkiego traktowania. Organizacje te przypominają, że instytucje i organy międzynarodowe niejednokrotnie wzywały Polskę do podejmowania reform w kwestii zapewnienia dostępu aborcji i konieczności zapewnienia edukacji seksualnej.
W stanowisku organizacje przypominają protesty kobiet, które miały miejsce kilka razy na przestrzeni ostatnich lat w podobnych sytuacjach prób łamania praw kobiet. Teraz jednak sytuacja jest inna i z uwagi na pandemię COVID 19 społeczeństwo polskie nie może organizować protestów na ulicach.
